Digital radiology

An X-Ray (radiograph) is a noninvasive diagnostic test that aids in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Imaging with x-rays involves exposing a part of the body to a small dose of ionizing radiation to produce pictures of the inside of the body. Our digital machines deliver images in seconds and offer lower radiation exposure. These pictures can then be reviewed by our veterinarians and electronically sent to board-certified radiologists for consultation and review.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a very useful diagnostic tool that utilizes sounds waves through a specialized probe to project real-time images or videos of our patient’s organs onto a display screen. This modality allows the veterinarians to see within the organs and body cavities of our patients.

It aids in differentiating between normal and abnormal findings so that a diagnostic plan can be developed.
