After-Hours Emergency Care
At High Prairie Veterinary Services, we understand that pet emergencies don’t always happen during office hours. To ensure your pet has access to professional guidance 24/7, we provide an after-hours answering service at no additional cost to our clients.
How Our After-Hours Process Works:
If you have an emergency after our clinic has closed:
- Call our main clinic line: (406) 525-3878.
- Tele-Triage via Animal Health Link: You will be connected with a live Veterinary Technician through our partner, Animal Health Link.
- Professional Assessment: The technician will perform a “tele-triage” to assess your pet’s condition.
- Immediate Action: * If it is a true emergency: The technician will immediately reach out to our on-call team to coordinate care.
- If it is non-emergent: You will be provided with professional home-care instructions to keep your pet comfortable until we reopen.
- General Inquiries: For non-emergencies, you may also choose to leave a voicemail for our staff to follow up with you during the next business day.
